Runnong Water-Saving Holds a Thematic Meeting on In-depth Implementation of the Spirit of the Eight Central Provisions and Concentrated Rectification of Illegal Dining and Wining

The meeting conveyed the spirits of the following: the circular issued by the special working group for study and education on thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Eight-Point Central Committee Regulation at the central level and the General Office of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) regarding 2 typical cases where Party members and cadres violated the spirit of the Eight-Point Central Committee Regulation by engaging in illegal dining and wining during the study and education period; the spirit of the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the meeting of the Leading Group for Party Building of the Provincial Party Committee; the spirit of the provincial mobilization and deployment meeting for concentrated rectification of illegal dining and wining; and the spirit of the provincial scheduling meeting for study and education on thoroughly implementing the spirit of the Eight-Point Central Committee Regulation.

Ding Huijun, General Manager of the company, emphasized that the circulars from the central-level study and education working group and the General Office of the CCDI fully demonstrate the firm determination and clear stance of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core in advancing the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party in a consistent manner. As a state-controlled listed company, Runnong Water-Saving must urge all Party members and cadres at all levels to: first, enhance their political stance, deeply recognize the severe political harms of illegal dining and wining, take the cases as warnings, and keep alert at all times; second, focus on prominent issues such as violating disciplines despite repeated warnings and engaging in hidden and mutated violations, and resolutely put an end to phenomena like "mutual dining", "dining with official documents", "dining in canteens (for improper purposes)", "dining at the expense of business owners", "dining at the expense of subordinates", and "private dining gatherings"; third, resolutely curb drunk driving and drunk driving offenses, and impose severe penalties once such violations are discovered.
