Give Wings to Agricultural Modernization with Technology, Boost the Take-off of Modern Smart Agriculture

On November 5, the On-site Promotion Meeting for the Restoration and Reconstruction of Rural Housing, Farmland and Water Conservancy Facilities and the Construction of High-Standard Farmland in Shanxi Province was held in Linfen. He Tiancai, Vice Governor of Shanxi Province, Liu Zhijie, Director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Li Yunfeng, Deputy Secretary of the Linfen Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Linfen, as well as relevant responsible persons from the provincial departments, and the agricultural and rural affairs and water conservancy departments of various cities and prefectures attended the on-site meeting. Zhang Guofeng, General Manager of Hebei Runnong Water-saving Technology Co., Ltd., Jin Fuquan, Deputy General Manager of the Sales Department, and Zhang Yuchuan, General Manager of the Xiangfen Branch in Shanxi, accompanied the meeting throughout the process.

The leaders present observed the Xiangfen County High-Standard Farmland Demonstration Area constructed by Hebei Runnong Water-saving Technology Co., Ltd. Zhang Guofeng, General Manager of Runnong Water-saving, reported on the construction progress of the Xiangfen County High-Standard Farmland and Smart Agriculture Demonstration Area. Leaders at all levels highly praised the achievements made by Runnong Water-saving and fully affirmed the construction model of Xiangfen High-Standard Farmland.

After the on-site meeting, Zhao Wenzhi, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, led relevant responsible persons from the Farmland Management Division of the provincial department and the municipal bureau of agriculture to conduct a follow-up inspection at the project site. He thanked Runnong Water-saving for its hard work in the project construction and re-conveyed the praise and recognition of the provincial leaders for the project.

The Xiangfen County High-Standard Farmland and Smart Agriculture Demonstration Area is another high-quality smart agriculture project meticulously built by Runnong Water-saving. For the project construction, the independently developed agricultural Internet of Things (IoT) cloud platform and related supporting equipment of Runnong Water-saving were adopted. This has realized the precision and intelligence of farmland irrigation, improved the guarantee level of agricultural production in the fields, and led the transformation of high-standard farmland construction towards digitalization and intellectualization.
